Where we come from
Jubilee Church launched in 2020. The church was started in partnership by City Church Cambridge and The Bridge Church in St Ives.
Jubilee Church Ely is part of the Relational Mission family of churches.
Jubilee Church Leaders
Jubilee Church Ely is led by Russell Burgess and Ali Jones.
Russell (on the left in this photo) is married to Rebecca and they have two boys. They moved to Ely in May 2020 from The Bridge Church in St Ives (Cambridge not Cornwall) to help plant the church. Russell works part-time as a secondary school drama teacher as well as for the church. Russell enjoys football especially following his beloved Stockport County, music and reading. Russell is passionate about equipping and encouraging the church to share the good news of Jesus with anyone and everyone they meet.
Ali (on the right) is married to Abi and they moved to Ely in 2011, having loved the city since first visiting it as students. Ali works as an architect and can often be found clambering up scaffolding on a wide array of beautiful old buildings. Ali longs to see the church and individuals at Jubilee grow in to everything God has called them to be.
